Samaritan House offers two food distributions:

TEFAP Commodities & Food Supplement Distribution

Commodities require registration and The Food Supplement Distribution does not require registration.

Emergency Food bags are also available during office hours.

Program Qualifications

Applications for The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP)/Commodities must be filled out in person in the office or during the food distribution. No other documents needed.

The Samaritan House Shelter is an emergency overnight shelter, and is normally open for Day Center year round, and Overnights October-May, on a first come first serve basis.

Day Center is open year round for food, shower, laundry, and other support services dates and times may vary.

Overnights are open seasonally, dates and times vary.

The Diaper distribution program is available to families in need of baby diapers. Available once per month during office hours. Registration is required.

Applications must be filled out at the office in person by either parent, grandparent, or legal guardian. No documents required.

To apply for a Thrift Store voucher please stop by our office and fill out an application. ID may be asked for, but is not required, no other documentation needed.
